Every year, trained volunteers visit area beaches and help beachgoers spot and identify the fascinating, colorful creatures uncovered by summer low tides. Kids can learn how to respectfully observe and handle intertidal animals, and how to leave the beach in good shape after they leave. Naturalists will be at South Alki and Lincoln Park in West Seattle. Check www.seattleaquarium.org/conservation/beach/ for details.
