3.            ParentMap 2008 Pathways Lecture Series for Parents

Parenting is a wild ride, and the “rules” are always changing! ParentMap’s Pathways lecture series presents world-class experts who know just what local parents are going through – and how to help. Our fifth-annual series features speakers who offer parents tips and tricks for coping with the many challenges children bring at every stage of development. Our lectures keep parents on the cutting edge of scientific and social research, and give them real tools that can help them improve their family relationships.

A special new offering this year: ParentMap presents a unique and lively program for moms titled “Opting In/Opting Out in 2008.” The panel, led by Mona Locke, will feature seven women in our community that have successfully navigated the delicate balance of work and family – each in a very different way. The program will feature a resource fair and reception for attendees. Detailed information and tickets can be found at www.parentmap.com.
