The Green Sheep at Seattle Children’s
Theatre You and your toddlers will be delighted and captivated
as you sit in the sheep pen and join in the search for the elusive green sheep.
There will be music, puppets, and loads of laughter while you explore the early
learning concepts of size, color, and distance. www.sct.org. Through August 31 2.
Camp Long Tot Walks On this one-hour walk for toddlers and adults, we’ll
meet new friends and explore the different habitats; life in the pond, forest
and field. The topic for each walk is reflected in the title. Half hour snack
social after the class at cabin #4, bring a snack to share. Please register no
more than two children with one adult. Please register in advance and dress for

Beach Safari at Mee Kwa
Mooks Rejuvenate yourself after your work week and enjoy some
of the best low tides of the year. Find amazing marine creatures and intertidal
plants and learn beach ecology. Please dress for the windy weather and wear
shoes that can get wet and handle slippery surfaces. Cost $7. Ages 3 and older. Registration required,

Crazy Campfires at Camp
Long Join Camp Long naturalists for a family evening of
nature walks, campfire songs, stories and mysterious characters. Food treats and
corny jokes are included. Want to know more? Gotta sign up! Please dress for the

at Camp
Long From the wandering performers and string quartets to
dance troupes and an outdoor museum of sound, the 2007 Arts~in~Nature Festival
will have something for everyone. Free with a suggested $5.00 donation. For more

Little PEPpers… for Parents with
Infants
and
Toddlers Are you ready to come and play? Are you ready to
meet other parents with infants and toddlers (0-3 years)? Come and wiggle,
squiggle and giggle! Join us at one of four locations for...Little
PEPperS! PEPS is running 4 special groups this summer and early fall for
12 weeks each at designated sites (community centers). Professional PEPS leaders
will oversee fun mornings with activities for parents and children, 0-3 years.
Special emphasis on parent support and parenting one or more children, pertinent
topics, play and interactive activities. Come and bring one or both children.

PEPS 10th Annual Luncheon – Help
make it a splashing success PEPS each year celebrates the community
we create with a Benefit Luncheon that supports PEPS and thus the thousand of
parents PEPS serves each year. Interested in joining the fun of planning the
2008 10th Annual PEPS Luncheon? Join our Luncheon Committee as
a volunteer, and help our staff create an amazing 10th Anniversary event.
We are especially looking for volunteers who have graphic design, video,

Megawatt position announcement: Gathering
of Neighbors Event Coordinator Every year, Megawatt puts on a Gathering
of Neighbors event. It’s a West
Seattle festival that brings together community organizations and local
residents of all ages to highlight and celebrate our abundant resources, build
social connections, and experience the benefits of community interaction and
involvement. We’re looking to hire an energetic and talented person to help
coordinate the event. This position is part time until November 3. For more

Sunday February 10 at the Brockey Center at South Seattle Community
