Seattle Community Centers celebrate spring with egg hunts and pancake
breakfasts! Delridge, Alki,
and Hiawatha Community Centers are all hosting festivities. Check our website for more

the fun at South Seattle Community College – Jerry Brockey Center. Tickets are $5 in advance, $7 at
the door (under 1 year free) and can be purchased in advance at Curious
Kidstuff & Funky Jane's Consignment. All proceeds from these
events will benefit the South Seattle Community College Cooperative
Pre-Schools scholarship fund.

Lecture How
to Behave Better So Your Children Will,
Too! Presented
by Sal Severe, Ph.D.
This 2-hour session will discuss strategies for dealing with
negative attention, arguments, power struggles, and manipulation. Dr. Severe will teach you how to
get your children to listen – the first time! Tickets are $15 online or by phone

Garage Sale Megawatt
is sponsoring the second annual West Seattle Community
Garage Sale on Saturday, May 13,
2006!! Last year over 60 organizations and
individuals participated and this year we want it to be even larger! If you, your
block, group/organization, or business is interested in
participating and would like to hold a garage sale, go to Megawatt’s
website, print a copy of the registration form, and mail it with your

you are not interested in having a garage sale, but do have items you
would like to donate, please contact us. Megawatt will be having its
own fundraising "megasale" that day and would appreciate any
